Changing the Way You Think About Oral Health.

Children's Dental Care

Cleanings. Check-Ups. Fluoride. Sealants.

It's Never Too Early to Protect Their Teeth.

"When should I bring my child to the dentist for his or her first visit?" It's a question we often hear. We believe it's never too early to prevent dental problems and recommend that your child should see a dentist when the first tooth appears or no later than his or her third birthday.

This is the perfect practice to trust with your children's dental care. Dr. Tzendzalian and his team loved kids and treat them with the utmost care and gentleness. With one visit here, your child won't be afraid to go to the dentist.

Sealants • Protecting Kids' Teeth
As soon as your child has molars, we recommend applying dental sealants. Sealants provide a clear, strong barrier to protect the teeth from decay and prevent cavities. The sealant is "painted" on the molars, and then dried by a special light. Sealants last for several years and provide unequalled cavity protection.

Sports Mouth Guards
If your child plays baseball, soccer, football or any other contact sport, make sure you protect his or her teeth with a sports mouth guard. We recommend you get a custom fit mouth guard from a dentist; they offer more protection than a "boil and bite" mouth guard available at a sporting goods store. With the custom fit, our mouth guard can better protect the teeth against damage, as well as prevent concussions, fractures and other major injuries than those found in stores.

Air Abrasion
Air abrasion is a technique that we use to remove decay and perform other dental procedures without the use of a drill or the need for anesthesia. It's an excellent technology for use with children. There's no numbing shot needed, and no sound, smell or vibration associated with a drill. Air abrasion can reduce treatment time by half, provides effective and precise care and eliminates the discomfort of being numb for hours.

"Wonderful, friendly care, as always. Coming to your office feels more like a visit with friends than a dental appointment. It was great to see everyone again and I was completely satisfied with my visit."

1 John 4:18 - “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
