Oraqix
Before we begin therapy, we use Oraqix, a needle free, profoundly effective numbing solution that makes scaling and root planing easy. It's changing the way patients experience gum care.

Piezo SYMMETRY IQ Scaler from Hu Friedy
The Piezo Scaler is a soft tissue scaler used in the treatment of gum disease, considered one of the best in the world. The Piezo uses high frequency ultrasonic waves to clean the teeth and deliver gentle gum treatment. It removes tartar from above and below the gum line. This treatment also helps the gum reattach to the tooth root. The Piezo laser treatment is so comfortable normal local anesthetic is often not necessary.

Atridox
Following your scaling and root planing treatment, we may place Atridox in and around the pockets of periodontal disease. Atridox is an antibiotic medication developed specifically for bacteria associated with periodontal disease. This medication will kill any remaining bacteria and promote healing.

Rotadent Periodontal Toothbrushes
For our patients diagnosed and treated for gum disease, we recommend they use the Rota-Dent® toothbrush. This toothbrush is the only one that has patented microfilament brush tips designed to reach underneath the gum line and in-between the teeth.
