Meet the Dental Team of Dr. Peter A. Tzendzalian



Kristin Tzendzalian,

Practice Administrator


Kristin is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She, then, pursued pharmacy residency training at the Durham VA in geriatric pharmacy. After her one-year residency, Kristin moved out of the Triangle and back to the beach only this time to Jacksonville, Florida (she grew up on the NC coast). She worked as an ambulatory pharmacist at SHANDS Jacksonville for a year and a half before getting married to Dr. Peter Tzendzalian. Before having their first child, she worked with Senior PharmAssist, a non-profit pharmacy organization which helps seniors in Durham County afford their prescription medications. Since, she has enjoyed helping run the office and raise their beautiful children, Trinity, Centurion, Xander, and Maral. Kristin also enjoys teaching as adjunct faculty and the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.

Katherine Correll,

Administrative Assistant

Katherine grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and like the Tzendzalians, attended First Baptist Church. Katherine joined Dr. Tzendzalian's team in August of 2010, after graduating from Hillsdale College with a BA in American Studies in May. Since joining the team, she has enjoyed participating in many Continuing Education courses, including implant coordinator certification in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. While not at the office, Katherine enjoys playing her flute, participating as a member of FBC, Scottish dancing, and traveling.

Virgina "Ginny" Johnson,

Dental Assistant II

A country girl, Ginny was raised in rural Mount Airy, NC, and moved to the Triangle Area to attend Meredith College. Ginny graduated from Meredith in 2004 cum laude with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. She then  attended the UNC School of Dentistry, earning a BS in Dental Assisting in 2009. Ginny has worked with Dr. Tzendzalian as a clinical dental assistant since July 2009. She shares Dr. T's practice philosophy for providing excellent service and high quality dentistry to our patients because of an ultimate accountability to our creator, Jesus Christ. She is part of a big family and loves children and dentistry. Currently, Ginny is a second year  Dental Hygiene Student at UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and is engaged to be married after her graduation.

 

 

 

 

Milton Ordonez,

Dental Assistant II

Milton has worked with Dr. Tzendzalian since April 2008.  Milton is a native of Guatemala and is bilingual, he speaks English and Spanish fluently.  He assists Dr. Tzendzalian with clinical dental procedures and is a great team player.  He stands ready to make your dental experience a comfortable and enjoyable one.

 

 

 

 

 


 

Katie Bowen,

Dental Assistant

One of seven children, Katie Bowen grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She began working with Dr. Tzendzalian in April 2011 as a dental assistant. Katie loves dentistry, children, and singing in the First Baptist Church choir. She also enjoys running, and has run 5 half marathons and a full marathon in the Spring of 2011.

 


 

Robbi Johnson, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Robbi became a member of Dr. Tzendzalian's team in June, 2011. She gave birth to her first baby boy in that same Spring. Robbi specializes with work in periodontal hygeine, and Dr. Tzedzalian is excited to welcome her to the practice.
